Bill Board Manager Application developed for SBC Digital Signs, is a control and monitoring system designed to manage Bill boards content in real time using RaspberryPi.
I like the flexibility and customization that Ways and Means Technology Team has provided us during the development of the product. They have good ideas and love to brainstorm. Â I have to say the Billboard Manager application that they have build is one of those rare NEW thing that are going to revolutionize the way we do communication and the way we create advertising work.
There are two sensors which have been integrated with RasberryPi and through socket and real-time readings are being accessed by the system. Temperature sensors displays the live temperature values and show it on the Billboard screen. Brightness Sensor reads the value through sensor and adjusts the Billboard saturation, brightness and other related parameters to make the content viewable to the viewers.
The client application of the solution runs on the RaspberryPi to show the content streamed to the RaspberryPi in real-time or data stored or downloaded earlier and scheduled to be played at a given time.
